ON HOW BEST TO BEST ABU AND THE DONNY

A Watcher’s commission: I, Penueme, he who introduced mankind to poetry,

have been commissioned by The He who created him, to save humanity.

Humanity is devolving far too quickly; far more quickly, than it is evolving;

especially now, that both ISIS and The Donny are … arriving.

We Watchers, we rebel angels, (the Jinn, in Islam), defeated long, long ago by

the forces of our Creator (Allah/God/Jehovah/Yahweh), long to die.

We Watchers, we, the Nephilim of Genesis, long to die; our sentences, lengthy:

to view, in chains, your tragi-comic re-runs … perpetually.

Watchers, watching re-runs, in chains, perpetually; sounds like Hell to me,

but thankfully He is … The All-Merciful and … The Almighty.

We Watchers, lovers of women, have long … longed to die; it’s up to me,

Penueme, to help Art, a pitiful creature, write novel-like, poetry.

The commission is this one: Write to the children of the nations. Let 140

characters teach them the wisdom best to best Abu and The Donny.

WISE UP … (WO)MAN!

A revelation: A Jew, a Christian and a Muslim pray in the holy city of Jerusalem;

a human, schism.

“So long as there is peace among the nations, then, Armageddon cannot be,”  in

unison, they pray.

The three, in unison prayed on: “If peace comes then, by definition, Armageddon,

cannot ever be.”

“Peace has never been, but it may be if ever all commune, as a unitary, human

and, Godly, family.”

“Peace is ne’er been but yet may be, if ever humanity (one and ninety-nine), in

solidarity, rule.”

“Hindsight’s 20-20; insight’s blind; but peace flows from timely, algorithmic action,

alchemical.”

A word to the wise to an auto-denominated, twice-wise, homo sapiens sapiens;

Wise up … (wo)man!

PARTIERS-AMERICAN

Partiers-American: Two parties, Grand Ol’ and Democratic, are not the partiers

of our fathers. cc:

No; one is not the party of President Abraham Lincoln, the great emancipator …

of the union. cc:

Nor is one the party of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the great … new-dealer,

president. cc:

Nor is one the party of John F. Kennedy, who, once upon a time, as a pipe-dreamer

… dreamt. cc:

The planet pines for leaders with wisdom’s vision and dreams’ insights bigger

than a Big-Bang. cc:

A globe pines not for shoot-from-the-hip reactionaries like the gossipmonger

. cc:

Why not freedom of religion, universally, and a Golden Rule (the only), secular

… commandment?

On Reading the Handwriting on Walls (II)

Independent of the language that one speaks, it is near universally,
not at all easy to find a learned and skilled teacher sufficiently
versed to teach that method of reading that is the incisively
artful reading … of handwriting on walls … insightfully.

No, it’s not at all easy. It’s darn near impossible to earn a degree in the reading
of the international walls’ … cryptic handwritings; for education
lacks in its curricula that graduate degree requiring
an undergraduate degree … in wisdom.

Or more appropriately perhaps, an undergraduate degree in the reading
of international walls’ … multi-tongued handwritings … cryptic
ought be the formal prerequisite eventually leading
to a graduate degree in wisdom … so mystic.

More Stupid than Ever … a SMART Phone Later (II)

Having dropped my old cell phone into a steaming cup of coffee, I bought a smart
phone, but regrettably … I’m ever more stupid … and ever less … smart.

A sad development, this added stupidity and diminished lucidity; my contraption
predictably failed to prompt me to make better choices; better decisions.

But no such luck; I still make all the same old time-dishonored mistakes; falling
in love at the drop of a hat … my time-honored old loves … remembering.

Verily, youth is seemingly wasted on the very young; wisdom on the very aged;
for were there a better balance between the two, humanity, would be … aided.

SINCE … SHE LOVED ME NOT

She loved me once. Then … she loved me not. The former, I often heard; the latter … not ever.
But actions … and omissions to act … speak volumes … deafeningly.
And so my sick heart now hurts less; for romantic declarations aside, aside from our Creator,
nothing’s forever … but Him … or Her; and that’s comforting … most definitely.

That (S)he is forever is most comforting; but there have been other comforts … since she
loved me not. That a heart is mended is, largely, an inconsequential one;
but knowing that beyond actions speaking loudly, that inaction speaks volumes … deafeningly,
is altogether, another. That latter slice of wisdom ought matter … to everyone.

Art’s life’s been more dissolute than resolute. He’s lost much held dear, especially a child whom
would have turned twenty-one years young, this Autumn’s October.
But Arthur’s losses; of parents, child, wife and life oft pale next to that of others, whom
struggle in … Allah/God/Jehovah/Yahweh’s … time river.
