A Tale of Two Turkeys … and US

Pope meets with Turkish Muslims; calls for dialogue between Christians …
and our brother … Muslims. http://cnb.cx/11E1BR0 via #twitterfiction

Turkish President: Men and women are un-equal; women … ought know their place
(and it’s not, in his face). http://a.msn.com/01/en-us/BBfBLD4 #twitterfiction-place

Say what you will about the US, it is a bastion of religious and secular freedom;
freedom for Christians; freedom for Jews; freedom for Muslims …

… and freedom for women. We’ve got lots of soul-searching to do, we Muslims,
Christians and Jews; for beyond dialogue is Global Truth … and Reconciliation.

On Doubt, Reality and a Wintry … Writer’s Block

Time is money it is popularly said. Verily, both may be characterized as commodities;
but only time, between the two, is … perhaps … everlastingly real … (maybe).

“I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am.” Famously uttered by Socrates, a prototypical
thinker … but I doubt even that in a world, so fraught … with delusions … ‘logical’.

And so to mitigate against a wintry writer’s block, I counter the slowing of arterial circulation
with ‘current events’ … a ‘fireplace’ … and copious amounts of ‘liquid … intervention’.

Prophesy … Oft is … but Educated Guess (II)

It’s time for Global Truth and Reconciliation. Whether you think we can, or might
think we can’t … you’re absolutely … right!

And so … AN ATLAS … POETIC; prose, poetry, tragedy, comedy … and … in
a surreal redaction … prophesy; nonfiction … posing as … fiction.

Tragi-comedic poetry because for a message globally dramatic, only poetry,
emotes more eloquently, than one may ever aspire to … prosaically.

Accordingly, via poetry melding Ovid’s on inexorable change and Emily’s letter
to the world … chachomanopapa … would a planet … better.

Therein, in poems to the global citizenry on change, the nonfictional emissaries
of the nations fictionally ask, “Of what good to our nations are … nationalities?”

AN ATLAS … POETIC; a poetic and prosaic tragi-comedy … and … yes,
prophesy too … for prophesy often is … but educated guess.

On Reading the Handwriting on Walls (II)

Independent of the language that one speaks, it is near universally,
not at all easy to find a learned and skilled teacher sufficiently
versed to teach that method of reading that is the incisively
artful reading … of handwriting on walls … insightfully.

No, it’s not at all easy. It’s darn near impossible to earn a degree in the reading
of the international walls’ … cryptic handwritings; for education
lacks in its curricula that graduate degree requiring
an undergraduate degree … in wisdom.

Or more appropriately perhaps, an undergraduate degree in the reading
of international walls’ … multi-tongued handwritings … cryptic
ought be the formal prerequisite eventually leading
to a graduate degree in wisdom … so mystic.

Treat Ye Others as Ye Would Have Others … Treat Thee (IV)

The Golden Rule or the ethic of reciprocity is a maxim, ethical code or
morality that essentially states either of the following: One should treat
others as you would like others to treat oneself, OR,
one should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated.

The Golden Rule can be found in the early contributions of Confucianism,
but the concept’s framework appears prominently in many religions,
including Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism,
and the rest of the world’s major religions.

That’s quite a pedigree, as maxims go. Ergo, ought not a learning-impaired
humanity adopt it as the more secular-friendly and simplified
equivalent of an ethical code or morality, more than enough, sufficiently dignified
to bring hope … to this fractious status quo … disordered.

“Treat others as you would Have others treat thee.” The Golden Rule; seemingly,
near perfect … for a learning-impaired … humanity.
“Treat others as you would Have others treat thee.” A short phrase that pithily
captures the spirit of Him … who created thee.

For brothers’ keepers in this fractious status quo, piecemeal peace, is no answer;
but the late great Nelson Mandela’s visionary model may yet deliver
us from the more or less continuous anarchy … that seemingly … ever and ever,
haunts humanity. But what’s good for the goose … is good for the gander.

And, if indeed, what’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.
then why not a GLOBAL Truth and Reconciliation … consider?
For indeed, for brothers’ keepers, piecemeal peace, is no answer;
Nelson’s legacy is the power, to forgive and forget … to live … together.

These Hopeful Times

This time we live in is the so-called end time, some say. That notwithstanding,
it’s not the end yet; so long as there’s hope, there’s time; both are a-wasting.
Hope springs eternal … Pope wrote in his “An Essay on Man”; but following
the ellipses … is to be found … a greater … meaning.

For following the ellipses, Pope went on to write, “Man never is, but always to be
blessed ….” Call it what you will then, whether it be
wishful thinking, or a positive attitude, it is what it is and will ever be
and that is … hope ever springing … if not eternal … but temporally.

Saving the Planet … One Poem … at a Time

Pope warns, “Take care of the earth so it does not respond with destruction,”;
gets ovation. http://a.msn.com/01/en-us/BBeReUG … #twitterfiction

Ignorance rules. The earth shall have her vengeance. Rhino killed for keratin

War of the religious … an oxymoron … as fitting today …. as it has ever been …

TO: @Facebook, @google, @CNN and @FoxNews, a movement is a-borning;
@Twitter @chachomanopapa & chachomanopapa.wordpress.com’s, a-blogging.

No mission impossible, however improbable, but verily, we’re running out of time.
The mission is to save the planet … one poem … at a time.

It’s time for Global Truth and Reconciliation. Whether you think we can, or might

a surreal redaction, prophesy; nonfiction … posing as … fiction.

A poetic and prosaic tragi-comedy, and in surreal, nonfiction … yes,

An Existential Riddle

An existential riddle: Spiritualities diverse aside, our common denominator really
is our humanity; not … surreally … any base … nationality.
So, in this surreal nonfiction … what is the common thread in the fabric
of His creation? Isn’t it … the totality … of His creation … cosmic?

Diverse spiritualities aside, the quintessence of unfathomability
is His purpose and its corollary … that is … our purpose.
But were we to abnegate our nationalities and exalt our humanity,
wouldn’t we … accomplish … His purpose?
