IN THE BEGINNING …

“What ten words do ye bequeath to humanity?” A daunting, haunting question;

ever since, Arthur’s been haunted; by both answer, and question.

Thus began the dreamy soirees whence revelations begat veritable epiphanies,

begetting an epic quest, to answer burning questions, poetically.

Why poetically? Easy; while poetry’s harder to compose than prose; it’s elegantly

far more emotive than one may ever aspire to be … prosaically.

Of earthly forms of written expression most like (Art imagines), heavenly hymns,

between chapter and verse ’tis verse that’s most favored by Him.

Art composes on 3 levels, using 140 character tweets to metamorphose into 980

character blog logs … to a manuscript … a poor man’s, publicity.

Twitter’s 140 character algorithm’s been, for Art, a useful revelation, surprisingly

utilitarian in marketing … education … and in composing poetry.

Platformless, Art writes on 3 levels; 140 character tweets metamorphose to 980

character blog logs and a book; a very poor man’s, publicity.

AN ATLAS, POETIC: Epigrams become very concise blog log entries; 140×7=980

characters; alchemic letters, to the nations, epigrammatically.

A formula for poetry, no matter the tongue: Prior to an 83rd character, end

then with the sound that one would have the second line … end.

Lectors may confirm, if they persevere through so many tweets, that (errors

aside), each tweet/epigram’s length is, exactly, 140 characters.

Voters of New Hampshire: Since ’52 the NH primary’s importance primarily

lies in media coverage of the half-truths and lies, of candidacies.

Voters of NH: Do not throw out the dirty bath water along with the baby.

Reconsider ye granite Yankees. ‘The Donald’ must be in NH, stymied.

Voters of NH: The two parties (Grand Ol’ and Democratic) are not the parties

of our fathers. Casting lots with a loose cannon seems, deadly.

Voters of NH: No; the former is s not the party of President Abraham Lincoln,

the great emancipator; one of the greatest, of our grand union.

Voters of NH: Nor is the latter the party of Franklin Roosevelt, new deal leader

and John F. Kennedy, a battle-tested and visionary dreamer.

Voters of NH: A nation (and a planet) cry, not for shoot-from-the-hip reactions

from a gossipy war-monger whose claim to fame, is illusion.

Be careful, what you wish for US of America, a black hole head-hole is upon US

and networks are become, the publicists, of a populist.

Head-holes are very often very good things, for our God-given spaces (holes)

for senses, but in elections, there’s no room, for head-holes.

Voters of NH: A race for POTUS is surreal, reality TV; its star, tragi-comically,

neither warrior nor diplomat but an entertainer, un-funny.

Voters of NH: The Donald is in need of sensitivity training. Aspirations as lofty

as running for POTUS require inspiration, not denigration. 

NH voters: Do not be duped by The Donald’s personality. Unquestionably, he

lacks presidential timber; or, rotted is the timber, irreparably.

Voters of NH: So what might the ‘ugliest American’ of all time possibly

do? Bomb the ‘shit’ out of them? That’s no vocabulary for a wannabe!

Voters of NH: Head-hole, for The Donald, seems a good fit, for in between

ears and under restorations, yawns an immense cavity, ne’er seen.

Abkhazia: To Georgian language speakers of Gali and beyond: Sow what we

all know in our hearts. We are, our brothers’ keepers. Fittingly …

… I, Bagrat Shinkuba, of a Ubykh nation am honored to tweet this first entry

of AN ATLAS, POETIC, Abkhazia being, neither state, nor colony.

But it is a ‘wannabe’ nation. That is enough, for the purposes of this tome;

part history, part sociology, part obituary, of your earthly home.

For while everything has purpose, it’s not unusual for one’s purpose to be,

forever to one, a mystery; forever, an unrealized, potentiality.

Go to Art’s, we poets all dreamt. Drink, eat and compose from soirees there,

an epic story from tweets bundled into units of 980, characters.

Eat, drink, be merry and compose we all dreamt, epigrams akin to Emily’s

Ovid’s and Homer’s. Tell, from the epigrams, a telling, story.

So (in between, prayer) we’ve been merry; eating, drinking and more topically

telling a telling story; so dreamt we poets, albeit, incredibly.
