MAYDAY 1615: SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2020

“The highly contagious novel coronavirus that has exploded into a global pandemic can remain viable and infectious in droplets in air

for hours and on surfaces, for days. And so I wonder: Is the virus capable of translocation by wafting, into … the air?”

“Is the virus capable of translocation by wafting up into the air? And up from there to even higher elevations? A coronavirus, novel

remains viable and infectious in droplets in air for hours. I wonder: May a cough or a sneeze, launch, missiles … viral?”

There is no reason not to bail out everyone. No moral hazard argument you’d be incentivizing bad behavior — Businesses

— and consumers aren’t responsible for this mess. The cost, doesn’t matter. It’s for the American, consumer. And for American, business.”

“Business isn’t responsible for this mess. Much less the consumer. I, on the contrary, far from blameless, may, by the Democrats be blamed.

Got to cut a check to everyone. And keep them for months, distractedly, entertained enough, to @JoeBiden … blame.”

“Got to cut a check to everyone. Got to keep everyone distractedly entertained, for months. Entertained enough to blame

Hunter’s Joe Biden for endemic corruption in Ukraine, if not, for the virus. Convinced by my insistence that, Joe Biden’s … to blame.”

“Joe Biden’s to blame for the corruption in Ukraine. And the hysteria in Italy. Got to cut millions of checks. One, for each, stir crazy,

American. I’ve got to keep everyone, distractedly entertained, for months. And keep myself from going … stir crazy.”

“But how? How on Earth might I keep myself, not to mention the entire country from going stir crazy Joe Biden’s to blame for corruption

in Ukraine. And the hysteria in Italy. Got to cut millions of checks. Got to get them to, each stir crazy … American.”

“Unprecedented; days like these; with the spread of Covid-19 threatening our health care system, our economy and our way of life.

How we respond may well determine how much longer we may hang on, or turn, on a dime. I’ll show ye how to turn, towards life.”

“How we respond may well determine how much longer we may hang on, or turn, on a dime. I’ll show ye how to turn, towards life.

Unprecedented; days like these; with the spread of Covid-19 threatening our health care systems, economies and our way, of life.”

“@Facebook @Google @LinkedIn @Microsoft @Reddit @Twitter and @YouTube say they are working closely together on COVID-19,

response efforts. And it may be, ironically, that the catalyst to responding to climate and migratory changes, may be in … COVID-19.”

“An existential threat is posed by COVID-19. I have spun it into a tale of microbes and men, and aliens legal, and illegal. Really

real, only surreally. For what is surrealism if not, an altered reality? Yours, different from mine unless it isn’t, really.”

“For what is surrealism, if not, an altered reality? Yours, different from mine, unless it isn’t, actually. The threat posed by COVID-19

I’ve spun into a tale of microbes and men and aliens, legal, and illegal. And borders surreal overrun by … COVID-19.”

“Two major factors fuel this pandemic in US; that people with no symptoms can easily spread the virus; and problems with testing,

in US. It’s critical. Everyone: Even those who don’t feel sick; stay at least 6 feet from others and avoid social gatherings.”

“I cynically prayed: God help us. And let not new cases ever number in the thousands, daily. And send me some panaceas or opium

or opioid prescription. And just like that an FDA-approved hydroxychloroquine fell into my lap, as if manna from, high Heavens.”

“I prayed. And just like that an FDA-approved drug fell into my lap, as if manna, from Heaven. ‘As if’; that’s when what’s happening

may be, not real, but surreal. It’s hard to tell what’s really happening. But it doesn’t bode well that we’re not testing.”

“It doesn’t bode well that we’re way behind in testing. It’s hard to tell what’s happening when carrier citizens walk about freely,

sadly, foolishly oblivious to the proximity of death. Indeed I fear what death may do, to my presidency … and my, legacy.”

“Just a little social distancing between our rapacious, rapist and drug smuggling Mexican brothers, and US; very similar, actually, to

what’s agreed to, on the northern, border. Critical is social distancing and isolation, between the borders, of the two.”

“Worst-case scenario: 1.1 million deaths. That model envisions an overwhelming of the system. Doctors agonizing over who

—ventilates and who — dies. Some doctors dying, alongside, their patients. Still, I share the people’s confidence in me as does, WHO.”

“Breaking; California just went into lockdown. We’re living in a global public health crisis moving too rapidly. We’ve got to, lockdown.

Lockdown the nation! Medical and financial systems are folding, like the houses of cards, they are. Lock … her down!”

“California just went into lockdown. We’re living in a global public health crisis, moving, way too rapidly. The nation, most regrettably,

I’ll have to, lockdown. Our houses of cards, are folding. Still, Vladimir and I see in the virus, great opportunity.”

“Where have you been? With whom have you been in contact? Lest we forget whilst we are overwhelmed by a novel coronavirus microbe

matters of life and death go on, unabated. Human migration and climate change, go on, no matter, the coronavirus … microbe.”

“My fellow Americans: As I lay me down to tweet, do as I say. Be like me. Don’t worry. Be happy. Everything’s going to be, alright.

Everything’s going to be, alright, even if we lose sight of one another for a year or so. Even so, it’s gonna be, alright.”

“Everything’s gonna be, alright. Even if sight of one another, we lose. Even if in sacrifice, we sacrifice, community. Take my hand.

Everything’s gonna be, alright. Life goes on. And if in town … come to the rally. Jostle … with the crowd. And shake … my hand.”

“Gone are the rope lines, selfies with supporters and entourages of traveling press. Replaced, for now, with new digital, words:

tele-town halls, virtual fundraisers and livestreamed speeches. But I can’t imagine a full life without hearing, my own words.

“Which patients get beds. And ventilators. Which patients, die. Like clockwork … cycles of denial … devastation and a shared

community response, belated, followed by inevitably, mutual, finger-pointing as blame is apportioned. To each … their share.”

“Alternatively, fortunate it has been that this virus thing got out of control. So it came from China. So what? I know President Xi. He’s

done right by his people. I know he’s learning even as I tweet … he’s got billions of brothers who aren’t, Chinese.”

“Facebook Google LinkedIn Microsoft Reddit Twitter and YouTube say they are working closely together on COVID-19,

response efforts. And it may be, uber ironic if a catalyst to responding to climatic and migratory changes, were to be found in … COVID-19.”

“About 75 million residents of Connecticut, Illinois, New York and California have been directed to sequester. Only essential workers

may be away from their homes. Social distancing measures not emulated by me essentially, to keep working … the workers.”

“I’m battling an outbreak of a new coronavirus called COVID-19. It started in China and has been spreading around the globe, killing

thousands. WHO says it’s now, pandemic. Still, I dither about locking down the country, because of the election, upcoming.”

“I’m battling the novel virus and COVID-19, the disease, caused. I don’t rush to judgment. I’m presidential. WHO says it’s now,

pandemic. Still, I dither about locking down the country and tanking the markets. After all … I’m our wartime president, now.”

“Rapidly arising levels of infection and illness have begun to overwhelm health care systems. Testing’s restricted to health care

workers and people who are, hospitalized. They say the battle to contain the virus, is lost. And they say that, I don’t care.”

“They say that I don’t care. But I do care. Of course, I care about the pandemic and it’s ravaging effect on the economy and on our society,

generally. It’s not that I don’t care about anyone, but me; it’s just that I care, even more, about my presidency.”

“Throwing cash at societal problems; that’s been the oft problematic behavior of the Democratic Party. Hardly, Republican. Lately

tho, Cotton’s at the heart of the economic stabilization package, whose price tag is swelling, beyond $1 trillion … lately.”

MAYDAY 1611: TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020

“The coronavirus fallout has been so dramatic that many economists think US is headed for a recession. Some think the recession’s, already

begun. And that it’ll doom my November reelection. But recession, is not a word … that I have … in my vocabulary.”

“In an about face I have recommended that states evidencing community transmission of the virus should close their schools, saloons

and other gathering spots. Our outbreak could last until August. And oh by the way, the economy may go into recession … soon.”

“Recession turns out to form part of my vocabulary after all. I just hate to say it. And the reason why I hate to say it is saying it

makes me feel like I’m passing, a huge, kidney stone; the largest, ever. Indeed … I’ve never felt anything … like it.”

“Bars, restaurants and movie theaters are being shuttered at 8 pm Monday throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, due to

the coronavirus, the states’ governors said. Social distancing. It’s in vogue. It’s what everyone and his brother wants to do.”

“Given what we know now it is very likely that people who are exposed to more air pollution and who may be, in addition, smoking

tobacco products are going to fare worse if infected with covid than those who are breathing cleaner air, and aren’t, smoking.”

Early on in my presidency I told my aides to treat the days like episodes in a TV show. To treat crises, as day-to-day, public relations

problems. But the long-term nature of a crisis like a microbial pandemic is resistant, to treatment … by prevarication.”

“The long-term nature of pandemics make them resistant to treatment at all except by treatment, sound. And I know nothing of treatments, sound

or unsound. What goes around, comes around only seemingly, perpetually; it too may some day stop, coming around.”

MAYDAY 1610: MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020

“The date my man Willy warned us about once upon a time is today that very same date. And so it is ironically fitting today be,

the day I say to ye that luck is a malleable thing; so much so it oft seems as if just simply manufactured by the lucky …  lucky.”

“Our cup runneth over in US. In the homes of the free and the brave. The date Willy warned us about, once upon a time — today — is,

that very same date. And it is fitting that I say to ye this day that our
cup doth, runneth over, today. It is, what it is.”

“I am pleased to inform the American people that Chinese billionaire and Alibaba co-founder Mr Jack Ma said he will donate

500,000 coronavirus testing kits and one million face masks to the United States. Thank ye Jack for your gift, to the United States.”

“Thank ye Jack; for your gift to US. And thank ye as well for supplies donated also to other countries including Japan, Korea, Italy, Iran

and Spain. Your philanthropy like your business acumen is extraordinary. Grateful the nations, like US … and Iran.”

“Your philanthropy, Jack, like your business acumen, is extraordinary. Grateful are the nations like US, and, amongst others, Iran.

Grateful to have ye, citizen Jack, are we citizens, global. Thanks again, Jack, on behalf of US, and the mullahs, in Iran.”

“Grateful are we in US; as are the citizens of Iran and the other nations ye’ve aided. Impressive has been, your trajectory. It’s been

like mine, that way. On behalf of Vladimir and Xi and Kim and Mo I invite ye Jack Ma, to join our purple … revolution.”

“On behalf of Vlad and Xi and Kim and Mo I invite ye, Jack Ma, to join our revolution. Because only political change that belies Him

— not — may get a handle on changes climatic and changes in human movements, migratory. But only if, we act … in unison.”

“To handle changes climatic and changes in human movements migratory, we must act, in unison. We’ve got to multi-task; and call in

reinforcements; artificial intelligence and machine learning. Vlad and Xi, Jack, will arrange a meeting with … @A_G_Dugin.”

“To handle changes climatic and changes in human movements migratory we have got to call in reinforcements; artificial intelligence

and machine learning. Vlad and Xi are already on board with the idea that we need intelligence beyond … our intelligence.”

“A lot could change in the next month or two. But it’s looking more and more likely that we could go a long, long time without our sports.

Our haphazard reaction to the coronavirus is making me wonder increasingly, about the tenuous, future … of sports.”

“Our haphazard reaction to the coronavirus is making me wonder increasingly about the tenuous future of sports and climate change.

It’s looking more and more likely we could go a long, long time without our sports, while the climate, continues, to change.”

“There are limits to what presidents can do, for good, or for ill. But within those limits at every juncture my actions ensure the worst

possible outcomes. Whether the outcome is public health, the economy, or global leadership, arguably, I am, the worst.”

“@JackMa: Thanks, Jack. Thanks for the kits; and the masks. I am the worst. Or the best. It depends. It depends on your political

persuasion. That it is to say, whether I am the brash, unruly, American some pine for, or my ugly American, proxy, political.”

“Given what we know now it is very likely that people who are exposed to more air pollution and who may be, in addition, smoking

tobacco products are going to fare worse if infected with covid than those who are breathing cleaner air, and aren’t, smoking.”

“Each of us is fuel for this virus. The plan is to avoid densely packed gatherings, schools and churches included — to starve the viral

microbe of fuel until we can develop antiviral medications and ultimately a vaccine. That’s the plan … Stan … anti-viral.”

MAYDAY 1609: SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2020

“Testing is essential for identifying those people who’ve been infected. For coping with the true scope, of any outbreak. It’s in testing

for the coronavirus, that we are failing. And this failure in testing, may make it much more fatal, and long-lasting.”

“An inability to test for the virus lengthens the life of a pandemic and heightens the mortality of a pandemic. 160 million

— to 214 million — people, just in US, may be infected. 200,000 to 1.7 million people may die. Globally … add many more millions.”

“Sadly I take this too lightly. I even joke about getting the virus from hand shaking referencing a donor in the room who I’d shaken hands

with last Sunday. His hands seemed — clammy — and after we shook sweat from the man’s hand, was left behind , on my hand.”

“With seemingly intelligent blitzkrieg-like speed, the pandemic has extended its reach into the halls of power in nearly no time,

around the world. And if ye want to know what’s happening, notwithstanding, all the drama, just understand … it’s showtime.”

“With startling, seemingly intelligent blitzkrieg-like speed, the pandemic has extended its tendrils into the halls of power in near no time,

around the world. So now, for the anti-heroic President Me, notwithstanding all the drama, verily, it’s showtime.”

“‘Tis indeed, showtime, Vlad and I know. Time to put up or shut up. Is what’s happening to us, to ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’, akin? In

other words, is the novel coronavirus really the enemy? Worse; is the virus the microbial agent of an enemy alien?”

“The ides of a month refers to days that land in the middle of the month, which in months with 31 days means — March 15. The deadline

in Roman times for settling debts, it is also, the day playwright William Shakespeare warned ye about once, upon a time.”

MAYDAY 1608: SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2020

“Bad karma. ‘Tis a bitch, some say. And because I fear I’ve been earmarked by the Democrats for a microbial infection, I’ll be lying low

for a while. Until the heat, dies down. Until then, I’ll be on my presidential executive, time, trying to lie … low.”

“I shake hands; all day long; Ivanka, too. We are diplomats. It’s the work we do. Trudeau’s self-isolating. Bolsonaro awaits, testing. I

however, have not been tested. Because, it’s secret, see. And it is secrets … I’m publishing. An expose … of lies.”

“Cancelled. The Masters and the Boston Marathon. Schools closed to millions. An Australian government minister tested — virus

— positive just days after meeting with Ivanka, William Barr and other officials in Washington, on official government, business.”

“Not even WHO knows yet, what’s in store. Telling. And chilling has been the cancellation of March Madness. Coming soon: Go home.

Conduct, if ye can, your business from there, wherever, that may be. We’re locking this down. Godspeed. Go … to your homes.”

“Godspeed. Go to your homes. Not even WHO knows yet, what’s in store. Chilling has been the cancellation of March Madness.

Coming soon: Go home. Conduct, if ye can, your business from there, wherever, there, may be. Beware: We’re locking down, this Madness.”

“Between 160 million and 214 million people across the nation may become infected over the course of the life of this pandemic

according to one projection. It may last for months or even over a year. As many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people may die of it.”

“Between 160 million and 214 million people may become infected. As many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people may die. And that’s just in

US. How many millions more, globally? I was wrong on this one. It seems that there’s always a first time, for everything.”

MAYDAY 1607: FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2020

“Ye may find in Twitter’s algorithm, in space and time enough space to compose content to uniquely, fit the moment; any moment.

Accordingly, those composing Vlad’s Cabal: Xi, Kim and Mo and myself may write the story, that implausibly, seizes, the moment.”

“I’m not concerned. I’ve been hoarding hand sanitizer. And toilet paper. A virus I may well be catching. Ironic it would be; to be

sickened; with all my hand sanitizer. All the more ironic to be by last week’s hoax, so physically sickened … so suddenly.”

“Bolsonaro’s aide posted an image of himself standing with Mike Pence and myself at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. Nonetheless, less

concerned am I with the possibility of contracting the coronavirus disease than I am losing in November, I must confess.”

“I’m a hand-shaker. It’s second nature to me I’ll lie to anyone that’ll listen. Virtually every activity that is marked by — person to person,

human interaction, on my watch, altered. We’re losing our desire to travel and for contact person … to person.”

“From a tickle in the throat, a hacking, cough. Then sudden, shortness, of breath. But getting tested, is far easier said, than done.

Five days after I announced that anyone who wants a test can get one, unless ye know someone, it’s hard … to get one … done.”

“Unless ye know someone that might ye favor it’s awful hard at the moment to get these tests done; no thanks to me, who used federal

monies at my discretion to try, to build a wall. A backlash surely, cometh. A backlash, local, national and international.”

“I’ve been assertive in closing borders to many outsiders; one of my favorite policies, actually. But within territories continental in

contrast, as the coronavirus spreads from one community to another I fear my bad karma has earmarked me, for infection.”

MAYDAY 1606: THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2020

“@GretaThunberg: I have found a new way of creating public awareness and advocating for change without drawing big crowds.

It will take some organizing; and some getting used to but if everyone that marched — tweeted — online, that would draw … a crowd.”

@MoveOn Greta: Move on, with me. I have discovered a novel way of communicating with others, without congregating in crowds.

It will take some organizing but if everyone that marched with ye tweeted online with ye too, that would draw a very large, crowd.”

“Opportunity presents itself, sometimes, in adversity. That’s what’s happening, here. Witness, the confluence of circumstances,

and their, synchronicity. Keep in mind the legal effect of changes in circumstances. Materially changed, Greta, are the circumstances.”

“Materially changed, are the circumstances. Opportunity presents itself, sometimes also — in changes — in the circumstances.

Witness, the confluence of circumstances, and their, synchronicity. And keep in mind, legal effects, of changes, in circumstances.”

“WHO has declared a pandemic. And stocks have slidden into bear market, territory. And the American public, is at last — finally

— opening its eyes and coming to grips with its new, reality. The coronavirus, is no, hoax; unlike my misbegotten, presidency.”

“Unlike my presidency, this virus is no hoax. WHO knows. WHO has declared, a pandemic. In bear territory now, the public is finally

coming to grips with its new, reality. But science-fiction’s science is helping me … write a story … to right, a story.”

“To write a story that rights our story. A tragic and comical story, particularly compelling. It may be, implausibly, a contender; a bestseller,

maybe. Eureka! I have found it; a mystical font of wisdom in plain sight, hidden, in the algorithm of Twitter.”
