History, the Status Quo and Prophesy (II)

The Balkanization of Pangaea reflects many thousands of years of hostilities
and countless rivers of bloodshed … too much of it … unnecessarily.

Allah/God/Jehovah/Yahweh’s people are all of us notwithstanding that some of us
feel that they, and they only … enjoy … a ‘most favored’ … status.

Ever more disagreeably disagreeing in this tragi-comic ‘reality’, The Big Three,
Muslims, Christians and Jews … may yet reconsider … albeit … belatedly.

But history, the status quo and prophesy mitigate mightily against the possibility
of plurality … coming to the rescue of a sovereign-based … humanity.

The rise to notoriety of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Islamic State and the Caliphate
via a magnetic attraction for disaffected misogynists … raises … stakes.

Alas, we homo sapiens (we auto-denominated ‘wise’ (wo)men), are, all too sadly a seemingly … supremely stupid … and specious … species.

On the other hand, we have the keys to our cells (and our brains) in our hands.
The internet … and a world-wide web … will help us … to understand.

We are the Almighty’s Reality TV

Allah/God/Jehovah/Yahweh’s people are all of us notwithstanding that some of us

The rise to notoriety of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Islamic State and the Caliphate

It is proof positive that we are created in His or Her image. For if (s)he, is surreally
anything like us, then (s)he and the heavenly hosts … love … reality TV.

Proof Positive of an Almighty Sense of Humor

Bubblews … GREAT EXPECTATIONS … Popped (III)

Mere months ago many wrote giddily (I amongst them) of the great expectations
of a business model … that threatened … social media institutions.

Written then: “Between posts, tweets and bubbles, in a jungle that is [media] only
the latter of book, bird and bubble … shares … its money.

Between book, bluebird and bubble, only the latter is the innovatively pioneering,
first, FAIR ecosystem of the internet … truly … sharing.

Chachomanopapa is a poster, a tweeter and a bubbler too, decidedly unhappy
that Zuckerberger’s Facebook book be such … a common … bully.

Chachomanopapa is a poster, a tweeter and a bubbler too, but Twitter offers
little more than shout-outs and sales pitches from … 140 characters.

Bubblews.com is the new kid on a block populated by bigger and tougher boys;
but this boy is his own man … a man-boy committed to sharing … his toys.

The new kid on the block is a visionary willing to rock this bubble of a boat. We
bubblers too must share its vision … and rock this boat … visionarily.

The new kid is a rock and roller … rocking and rolling … the powers that be;
for far more important … than money … is community.”

Alas, Bubblews is but a mere bubble. And, as we all know all too well, it is not
in the nature of a bubble … not … to pop.

Alas too, a larger and more vital bubble shall pop, when push comes to shove
and the hawks outnumber and/or … out-maneuver … the doves.

Alas too, God’s peoples, The Big Three, the Muslims, Christians and Jews, agree
to disagree … and follow primrose paths to … calamitous … prophesies.

PLATO: “Only the dead have seen the end of war.”

Plato, eminent student of Socrates and learned teacher of Aristotle, once said,
“Only the dead have seen the end of war.” … Enough … said.

The so-called Socratic paradox: “I know one thing: that I know nothing”
contrasts with talking heads … who seemingly know … everything.

I may be mistaken in my impression that pithy quotes such as the foregoing, in
surreal nonfiction … take no part … in today’s formal education.

And as I wholeheartedly agree with Plato and Socrates in their assertions,
that is why I’ve written AN ATLAS POETIC … in this nonfiction.

Confucius on WISDOM

“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest;
second, by imitation, which is easiest;
and third, by experience, which is the bitterest.”

The foregoing wise words of Confucius are timeless advice that know no
boundaries. By experience alone we ought, by now, be wise, although,
we are not. So imitate, and moreover, reflect, so that in wisdom you grow.

Experience. Imitate. Reflect. Write about your own experience.
Read of the experience of others. Their experience,
through your empathy, naturally leads, to a reflective experience.

When is an Epidemic Pandemic? It Depends on Who You Ask; so WHO; is Ebola … Pandemic?

Enlightening academic rhetoric: When does an epidemic become pandemic? It
depends on who you ask. So WHO (World Health Org.); is ebola … pandemic?

Between 550,000 and 1.4 million people in West Africa could be
infected with the Ebola virus … come January.

That alarming news was published last month and is according to a study
by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

A million and a half infections in West Africa translates (at current rates) to nearly
a million deaths from the Ebola virus … come January.

The death rate in the Ebola outbreak has risen to 70 percent and there could be
10,000 new cases a week in two months, WHO warned yesterday … grimly.

HIV vis-a-vis Ebola; the former leads to an excruciatingly lingering death;
the latter to an excruciating … but relatively rapid … death.

A sky-high fever, bleeding from the eyes, nose, mouth and ears; the Ebola
virus is highly virulent and that’s not to mention its explosive … diarrhea.
