Ruthlessly ruling in Syria is Bashar. Thanks to Russia, in the main. And to Iran. And now, belatedly, to President Don, also. President Don‘s
calling in his markers; to get re-elected president he’s calling on Bashar, to investigate Joe Biden and … his son.
“He’s the best American president,” Assad recently said. “Why? Not because his policies are good but because he is the most transparent
president.” And one actually can — see — right through the American president. He is in that way the best … president.
In Bashar’s selectively-edited world view, “All American presidents commit crimes and end up taking the Nobel Prize and appear as a defender
of human rights … but all they are is a group of criminals.” Don’s transparent. He wants oil. He is, no defender.
Contrast Bashar’s world view in that last tweet. Contrast it with what he said last night, in the Cabal’s nightly, lunar, soirée. A stark, contrast. For he
said that everyone is a prisoner of his circumstances. Circumstances dominate, all of us, surreally.
“Prisoners of our circumstances, are we. Circumstances; our jailers, dominate us. As do — twists of fate — too.” A physician by profession,
Bashar survives, thanks to frenemies; and circumstances surrounding his adoption of the … dictatorial, profession.
“Indeed we are, prisoners, of our circumstances. And circumstances — as our jailers — dominate, us. As do surreal twists of fate. Twists of fate,
monumental and mundane, do dominate us. As when Bassel died in the car crash. A monumental — twist — of fate.”
