“Honesty is the best policy,” Ben, once famously, declared. An epigram, of but five words, concisely, pithy. But Art would edit it, immodestly, to these three: ‘Honesty, is policy.’
Arthur hopes not, to make Benjamin’s quote for the ages more concise, nor more … pithy. “Honesty is the best policy,” shan’t be by posterity, edited. Art’s editing, alternatively,
not to show, a shortcoming in Ben’s adage, but rather, other, more extraordinary, things. Far … more, extraordinary, things. Things, Art’s been musing about, extraordinarily.
Like all of us, our governors, lie. Kim and Don, are no exception. Art’s brothers, slander, defame, gossip, and, to keep them off balance, tell a half or another, fractional, truth.
Some may say that a half-truth, is less insidious, than a bald-faced lie. Horrors. Nothing, could be further, from the truth. For the lie is Caligastia and Satans’, lasting, legacy.
The lie. Satan’s sinister present to Eve, has made your past, and your present, a crucible. Terrible has been your world’s, history. A history, horrifically and bloodily terrible.
The lie.
